Ted walked into the barn hangout room. He had told his mom what had happened, and was surprised to find out that he was still allowed to go to the stable. The only reason for that was because there was someone dependent on him there, Charlie. His mom hadn't even wanted him to go to the stable, but nobody else had time to take care of Charlie for him. He basically wasn't allowed to go anywhere else though, except school. The only way he got to go on the computer was because he had an incredibly nice sister that felt sorry for him and sacrificed her music and computer for Ted to use it. She had all of her favourite songs on her old computer now, anything by Tupac, and filled her spare time on the internet looking up reasons that Tupac isn't dead, and getting mad at the keyboard that is way more spaced out than her laptop so she had trouble typing on it. Enough about Jackie though.
Ted sat down in a chair and took a sip from the water bottle he'd been carrying around with him all afternoon. There was no reason for him to carry it around, he just hadn't set it down. But he had set down the hoof pick he had been carrying around for two hours without even thinking about it. He looked over at the door as it opened and saw Kendra walk in. Hey he said, somewhat quietly.

Kendra had just come home from a doctor's appointment. She was a little upset but, relieved at the same time. She walked over and sat down next to Ted. "We need to talk. I...I lost the baby. I just went to the doctor for my first ultrasound and the baby was basically disintergrated. He said it can happen in the early stages. It apparantly didn't latch on to the uterus properly and just kinda, died. These things happen." she said with a sigh.

Ted didn't know what to say. He was relieved, but wasn't sure how Kendra felt on the whole thing. It might be different for her, being the one that was carrying the baby and all. She might have gotten attached to it. Wow was all he said.

"Yeah..." Kendra said softly. "Listen, I don't think we should be together anymore. I can't handle all this stress and I'm kind of getting attached to an old family friend and...I just can't be with you..." she told him.

Yeah, okay.\ Ted said simply, kinda somewhat happy that he and Kendra wouldn't be together. He never really did love Kendra, but there was someone he thought he did, and could only hope she felt the same way about him.

Kendra sighed. She kissed Ted gently and then got up. She started to walk out the door. "Bye Ted." she said, leaving. She was glad that the ordeal was finally over.

Kendra left. About ten minutes later, a very tired Juliet walked in. "Hey." she said with a smile. She wasn't aware of what had just happened.

Juliet nodded. "Yeah. It was a busy night. Daddy and Sharon went out and Daddy proposed to her. They're getting engaged and we were celebrating with some other people last night. It was pretty boring for me. They were all old." she said, with a slight smile.

Juliet walked over and sat down next to Ted. "Yeah. It was." she said with a smile. She sighed, sleepily. "So how about you? What's up?" she asked him with a smile.

Ted smiled. I just found out that Kendra lost the baby. And right after I told mom. He said.

"Oh..." Juliet said. She didn't really know what to say to him. She was relieved so she figured that he probably was too. "Are you alright?" she asked him.

Yeah, I'm pretty good. I'm glad that I don't have to worry about it any more. Yet I still can't do anything except go to the stable and school Ted said.
