Well maybe you should have figured it out before-hand so you wouldn't get stuck in such a situation. Shannon said.

Josh laughed. "I didn't know you put it on!"

Oh, well that would be why you didn't figure it out first. Shannon said with a giggle.

Josh laughed. "Yeah! That would be! It's your fault!" he teased.

Yes, it's all my fault, I'm sorry. Shannon said with a smile. Oh yeah, there was something else I wanted to ask you while we're talking about stuff to keep Bri safe, but I forget it. She said.

Josh laughed. "What? You want me to hide all my drugs and booze?" he teased.

Well the booze is okay, she won't be able to open it or anything, but the drugs could be hidden a little better. Shannon said. I remember now, can we somehow make it so that she can't get into the cupboard with the cleaning stuff? Some of it's toxic and some probably spills out of the container and if she touches the containers and then chews on her hand or whatever she likes to do then she could get sick. Shannon said.

Josh nodded. "I could go to Wal-Mart or Toys-R-Us and see if they have anything that might help that." he said.

Okay, thanks. Shannon said. What else needs to be kid-proofed? She asked. IT was kinda fun making sure everything was safe. She wished that when she was little there were safety things all over the house, then she could have occupied her time trying to get past them rather than just sitting around doing nothing while her parents fought.

Josh shrugged. "The bathroom is already child-proofed. So are all the electrical outlets. We're going to get the stuff for the stairs and the cupboard. I dunno what else..." he said.

What about the fridge? There's stuff in the fridge that she could choke on, or she could pull stuff out and drop them on herself and hurt herself, or if she's not paying attention she could smack herself in the head with the door, I've done it before, and then hurt herself. Shannon said.
((We always had a velcro thing on our fridge so we couldn't open it. But that was because when we were toddlers we all would open the fridge and just throw stuff on the floor or just leave the door open))

Josh laughed. "You're paranoid." he said in a very cute, teasing way to Shannon. ((lol! im the baby of the family so i was constantly being held. everyone used to fight over me i didnt learn to walk until i was like...i dont even kno but i think i was at least 2 or like nearly two! i was never on the ground so i couldnt learn to walk! ))

((Wow! lol. I walked when I was 9 months, and then I ran the length of the couch and forgot to stop and fell off the end and hit my head on the dining room table. lol. We were in an apartment then and we had a LONG couch. lol))
I am not paranoid. I'm just careful, I don't want her getting hurt. Shannon said.

((lol! haha!)) Josh smiled. He rested his hand on Shannon's shoulder. "I know. I'll see what I can do." he said.

((I wasn't smart enough to walk yet. lol))
Shannon smiled, Okay, thanks. She said.
