Audrey looked at herself in the mirror. She was wearing some nice jeans and a glittery black halter top. She looked pretty, and she looked decent. She was never a very provocative girl. She had more respect than that. She ran her fingers through her hair and flattened down the pieces that were sticking up from her long curly locks. She then applied a little more lipstick and some nice eye shadow. She looked good. Audrey put on her black heels and then walked downstairs.

Alex looked over when Audrey walked downstairs. You look really pretty, are you going out? he asked her. Obviously she was, unless she was planning on wearing heels around the house for some reason. Alex wished that he was going wherever she was, he would love to be seen with her while she looked like that. He was still trying to be as nice to Audrey as he could to make up for the night that Beau had died. He still wanted her to believe him about what had happened that day; that he hadn't purposely left his phone in the car and he hadn't done anything inappropriate.

Audrey smiled at the compliment. "Really? Thanks." she said cheerfully. That made her day. She was starting to get through Beau's death and, she wasn't really mad at Alex anymore. She was still hurt, but she loved Alex. She couldn't stay mad at him forever. She sat down on the couch next to him. "Yeah. When I was at the grocery store I ran into this old friend I hadn't seen since medical school. He dropped out but now he owns a construction company so he's pretty well off. We got to talking and we said we should get together sometime. We're going out for dinner." she explained. Audrey didn't exactly think of this as a date. It was just two friends catching up, but, if romance was a factor, she didn't exactly mind.

Alex smiled, Well that's nice. he said. He wasn't happy about Audrey going on a date with some guy though. He wanted her to stay home with him. He wasn't sure if now was the time to bring up what he had been wanting to talk about for a while, but he decided to anyway. Audrey, do you remember a long time ago when we were in your office fighting after you slept at Brad's and never called to say that you wouldn't be coming home? I asked if you slept with him, which just made things worse, and then later you confessed that you never had slept with anyone, and then I said that I hadn't either. I still haven't, and I would not have my first time with Cassie. he said.

Audrey was a little shocked about how suddenly Alex had brought it up. She smiled softly after listening to what he had to say. "I believe you." Audrey said gently. She really did believe him. She hugged him tightly and then kissed his forehead.

Okay, good. Alex said. He didn't know why it was so important to him that Audrey believed him, it just was.

Audrey smiled softly. The doorbell rang. "Well, I should go... I won't be home too late, so, I'll see you when I get home." she said, grabbing her coat and walking to the door.

Okay, have fun. Alex said. He hoped that Audrey would have a miserable time and would never want to see the guy again. He didn't want her seeing any other guys.

Audrey greeted the guy at the door. "Hey Tom." she said with a smile. Tom smiled and greeted both Alex and Audrey. He then lead Audrey to the car and they drove to the restaurant.

Once Audrey and the guy, Tom, left, Alex put his feet up on the coffee table and put in a movie, The Pursuit of Happyness.

Audrey and Tom sat down to have dinner. It was such a nice restaurant and Tom and Audrey had a lot in common to talk about.

Audrey and Tom talked throughout dinner and it was very clear that Tom was flirting with her. They fed each other desert and flirted a little more. Tom then paid for dinner and the couple walked back to the car.

Audrey smiled softly as Tom drove. "I had a lot of fun tonight. We should do this again sometime." she suggested. "Why does the fun have to end now?" Tom asked with a smirk. "Umm...it's getting late. I should get home. I thought that was where you were taking me." Audrey said, slightly confused. Tom pulled into a secluded country road and park the car. He locked the doors. Audrey started to get nervous and tried to open the door but Tom grabbed her arm and pinned her down. "Tom, I really don't want to do this..." she said, getting very worried. "Did I ask if you wanted to!?" he yelled at her. He pulled out a knife from his pocket and held it to her neck. "You move or scream, and I'll kill you." he warned.
