The doctor smiled and wheeled Ana into a room. He helped her up onto a table and then put a heavy lead vest on her. "That'll protect you from the radiation." he said. "Now, I'm gonna set everything up, leave the room, take the x-ray, and then you're done. We'll get your results, and then fix you up."

Dr. Stein smiled. "No problem." he said. He adjusted the x-ray machine so that it was positioned just hovering over Ana's hurt leg. He pressed some buttons, and then left the room. The x-ray machine made some noises like the click of a camera, and then the doctor walked back in. "Alright. You're done." he said. He helped Ana back in the wheelchair and took her back to the room. "How did it go?" asked Sawyer when he saw them.

Ana smiled at the doctor when he said that she was done. "Thanks." she said. Ana smiled at Sawyer, "It was fine." she told him.
((I'm gonna be kinda slow and my replies will be crappier than normal. I'm looking for new stables because I had a lesson with the new instructor today and she treated me like a baby and I hated it, and I hate how we keep getting new instructors, and I hate Leslie. I found on that I like, and it's half a mile from here.))

Sawyer smiled. "I knew you'd be fine." he said. The doctor walked out of the room to get the results of the x-ray.

((I know. First Lori was fired which made me mad, and now Robyn quit, and now we have a coach from Windamere (where I started riding) and Windamere isn't a good stable at all. She was watching me tack up and kept telling me things, like how I didn't have the saddle far up enough when I first put it on and stuff. I always put the saddle on a bit too far back and then slide it forward. I ended up getting mad at her and telling her that I've been riding since I was 11, I think I know how to tack up by now. Then she just left me alone and started bugging someone else. While I was riding, I knew I was making a lot of mistakes. I hadn't ridden in a month. She didn't correct me at all though, even though I was making obvious mistakes. Like when I was jumping I kept jumping ahead and doing too big of a release, and she didn't even notice. I was cantering on the wrong lead at one point but Walker (the mare I was riding) wasn't co-operating and she wouldn't do a flying change. The coach didn't even say anything, but I know that she noticed. It made me really mad. It's $47 a lesson, the coach should at least try to teach us something. At the stable I like, it's $30 for a group lesson (which is what I'm in now) and $40 for a private lesson. I think I might be able to get Daddy to let me do a private lesson since it's still cheaper than at JL))
Ana smiled softly.

((I don't know yet. It's been nice only having to go out once a week, and I get to ride Simon, Charlie and Lyle whenever I want. I've had so much homework this semester so I haven't even had enough time for my lesson for the past month. I might get one in the summer and then just try to keep up with homework and riding when school starts again. I don't have the time right now to look for horses and try them out though.))
Ana smiled. She didn't know what to say.

((i see. makes sense))
The doctor walked back into the room with the results. He put the x-rays up on the screen. "It seems you have a hairline fracture on your right patella. We're going to have to operate and put in pins to keep the bone together as it heals. It was a clean break so there are no bone shards in you, which is a plus." he explained.

Ana didn't totally understand what the doctor was saying, she didn't know what a patella was. "Okay." she said. ((I bought Floyd a new outfit yesterday, I really like it! ))

((patella is shin )) Dr. Stein smiled. "Basically, you snapped your shin." he said. "We have to operate, and you'll have to stay in the hospital for three weeks." ((ahah! look at floyd how cute! ))

((kk, lol))
"Okay, I understand that better." Ana said with a little giggle. "Three weeks? That's so long." she said. She wasn't complaining, she just didn;t like the length of time that she'd be stuck in the hospital. She really hated hospitals.
((He looks so cute! lol! and he doesn't even hate it! it looks comfortable and he's fine with it.))

((lol!))
"Okay." Ana said. "But who's gonna take care of Sparty? And Bailey?" she asked. She could find someone to take care of Bailey, probably Sawyer, but she didn't know who could take care of Spartan.

"Couldn't someone at the stable take care of Spartan?" Sawyer asked. He had been around ranch horses, and knew how to take care of them, but not as well as how people take care of horses nowadays.
