Alex sat on his bed, making sure that he wasn't forgetting anything. He was finally leaving the hospital. He couldn't wait to go home and see Maxi and Beau, and sleep in his own bed. He was sick of hospital food, and couldn't wait to have some good food. Caro had brought some things over for Alex; some books, some clothes for when he got to go home, and his favourite deck of cards. He had played a lot of cards while he was stuck in the hospital. He had everything that had been brought for him, and he was ready to go home.

Audrey walked into the hospital. She had just left to take care of the dogs, and make sure the house was clean for Alex. She didn't want him tripping on anything. She walked out of the elevator and into Alex's room. "The car's here. You ready to go?" Audrey asked with a soft smile.

Alex nodded, Yeah, I'm ready. he said, standing up slowly. He was still really sore. He picked up the bag that had the few things that Caro had brought him in it.

Audrey wrapped her arm around Alex's mid-back, to help him walk steadily.

((Gah. Paul has really been making me mad lately! He has been so grouchy! He gets mad about like everything that I say. So I've been sitting in my bedroom as much as I can because it's better than sitting in the living room, and he doesn't get why I'm being so bitchy! How can he not? When we were eating supper earlier, I was talking about the Science test we had yesterday, and how I got an 81 and Alex, my friend, got a 97. Nick said that a 97 would be an A, and I told him that it's an A+. Paul yelled at me not to argue with Nick, and I said that I wasn't arguing, and then he told me to shut up. Yet I'm the one being bitchy.))
Alex walked easier with Audrey helping him. It was still painful, but it was a bit better.

((i'm going through parent issues with my mum too. she's the one i cant trust! anything i confide in her, she tells my sister or her friends, and it gets back to me so i've been being bitchy (i feel im entitled). she asked me why, i told her, yet i still have not received an apology for her blabbing all of my private information with the whole world, and im made out to be a bad guy to the rest of the family! it pisses me off! parents and step parents suck!))
Audrey smiled softly, not minding at all that she would have to basically hug Alex to help him move around. She helped him down the hallway and into the elevator.

((My mom's like that too. Nothing can be kept a secret and it's so annoying! I have reasons to be mad at people and be bitchy, but nobody thinks that it could possibly be because other people are making me that way. They definitely do. I think step parents are worse, or at least to me they are. I hate having someone else try to act like my dad when I already have a dad))
Alex didn't mind that Audrey was pretty much hugging him. He slowly walked with help from Audrey down the hall.

((i would hate that. i just hate when my parents act like dictators. or put me on a guilt trip. my mum is such a poor me one! she always expects everyone to feel sorry for her! it's damn annoying!))
Audrey pushed the buttons on the elevator and slightly snuggled against Alex as they waited for the elevator to reach the lobby.

((I like just about everything about my mom, except for the fact that nothing is a secret. I can't think of anything that I don't like about my dad. But there are so many things about Paul that I don't like. I could make a super-long list about it.))
Alex hugged Audrey with the arm closest to her as they waited for the elevator to reach the bottom.

((lmao i have a list for both parents but dads is a lot shorter))
Audrey sighed very contently. She liked having an excuse to be so cuddly with Alex. The bell on the elevator rang and Audrey helped Alex out into the parking lot.

((lol))
It was nice to have a real reason to be all cuddly with Audrey. Alex walked with help from Audrey to the car.

Audrey helped Alex into the passenger seat and then walked over to the driver's seat.

Audrey glanced over at Alex to make sure he was alright and then pulled out of the parking lot. In no time, they were back in their driveway. Home sweet home...

Alex was totally fine. He smiled when they got home. It's good to finally be home. he said.
