Cara gor up and left the room. She did not want to be stuck in the cross fire between Alex and Audrey. It was always awkward. Audrey just sat there, glaring at Alex.

Alex looked at Audrey and sighed. She looked mad. Audrey, don't look at me like that please, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked you if you slept with Brad. He said. That look killed him, he hated it when Audrey was mad at him.

Audrey sighed. "You should be! You never ask anybody something so personal! If I wanted to tell you, I would have told you!" she said, still angry.

Well you could have just lied and said no. Alex said.

Audrey got up and stormed out of the door. She spun around and glared at Alex. "What the hell do you mean lie and said no!?" she yelled. "It's none of your God damn business!"

That didn't come out how I meant it to, you know what I mean anyways. Alex said, following her out of the office.

"No! I don't know what you mean! How can you just assume I would do that with him!? Maybe I didn't! Did you ever think about that!? You have the lowest opinion of me!" she yelled, very angry at this point. Cara and Greg just stood there, not knowing how to calm her down.

It was the way that you reacted when I asked. You could have just said no like I said, and then I wouldn't have been able to make any assumptions because I would know. And I do not have a low oppinion of you, I have a very high oppinion of you, just ask Cara or Greg. Alex said, just a little quieter than a yell.

"You know what Alex! Forget it! I hate you! Tomorrow, I'm moving in with Brad!" she yelled, very angrily. Cara and Greg stood there, stunned. Audrey really shouldn't have said that.

That hurt Alex, and it would be easy for Greg and Cara to see that. It took him a second to reply. Go ahead, whatever. I don't care what you do, it's your life after all and if one question is going to make you this mad maybe it would be better. He said. Almost all that Alex said was a lie, the only true thing was that it was her life.

That hurt Audrey. She was expecting Alex to yell but not to act calm and not care. She turned around and was about to leave when the barrel of a gun was point directly in her face. "You four! Into the office!" the man screamed. Audrey's heart sank. She turned around and looked at Alex, Greg, and Cara in horror. She followed them into the office and the door was slammed behind them.

It scared Alex a lot when the gun was right in Audrey's face. He was somewhat relieved that they were just told to go in the office and she hadn't been hurt, but he was still scared. He didn't know what he would have done if Audrey would have been killed right there and his last words to her hadn't been at all nice. He didn't say anything when they were in the office, he didn't know what to say or do.

"Everyone down on the ground! I said get down on the ground! Do not look at us, do not speak!" one of the men screamed. Audrey was shaking. She turned and just looked at Alex. She was so scared. She got down on the ground like she was told. "Hands behind your heads!" a man screamed. Audrey, Greg, and Cara, did as the gunmen asked. Cara was sobbing.

Alex did what the guy said. He didn't want the guy to get mad at him. He looked at Audrey and Cara. They both looked so scared, and Cara was sobbing. He felt awful for both of them, but especially for Audrey. He hoped that all of them would come out of that room okay, he hoped nobody would do something that the gunmen said not to do because that would be stupid.

"Emergency Alert. Lockdown. All staff and visitors please report to the nearest room. Lock the doors. Remain calm." said Mr. Cranely over the loudspeaker. He must have seen the gunmen. He sounded scared. Audrey's heart was beating very quickly. She then realized she had her cell phone. She slowly removed it from her pocket and pressed number two on her speed dial. That was Brad's number. If he could hear what was happening, maybe he'd be able to call the cops or something. Audrey pressed the wrong button by mistake because she wasn't looking at the phone, scared that the men might see it. A loud tune began to play. "This one's got a phone!" one man yelled. Another man grabbed Audrey roughly by the arm. He slapped her across the face and smashed the phone. Audrey screamed loudly. The man covered her mouth with his hand. Audrey tried to squirm and fight to get away. "Stop struggling and I won't kill you!" the man screamed in her ear. There was a knife to her throat. Audrey's was breathing heavily as she was dragged out of the office and shoved into the room across the hall.
