Ted walked into the barn hangout room. He was pretty sweaty, he had just finished riding Charlie. Charlie had been exceptionally lazy that day, and it was 13 degrees outside so it had been tiring and Ted was warm. He had grabbed a water bottle on his way to the barn hangout room, and he opened it and took a sip. Then he sat down on a chair and put his feet on another. Then he just relaxed and closed his eyes. He was really tired. After a few minutes, he heard the door open and close but didn't bother opening his eyes or moving at all. He was falling asleep.

Juliet walked into the barn lounge. She had been really practicing Heaven's show jumping the past few days. She had been exhausted today. They went on a two hour trail ride, jumping some fallen logs and the low stone walls on someone's property. Then they had an hour long lesson. After that, Juliet lunged Heaven. She had been working hard with the horse because she was trying to get her endurance up in time for their big show. They were enrolled in lots of classes so Heaven would need lots of energy. Juliet grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. She smiled as she saw Ted. She sat down next to him on the couch. "Hey." she said with a smile.

Ted opened his eyes when he heard Juliet talk. Hey. He said with a smile. He was really glad that Juliet was no longer ignoring him.

"What's up?" she asked softly. She was tired. She smiled at Ted. Juliet was really glad that they were friends again. She knew better than to get into a serious realationship with friends now. It hadn't turned out well with Ted.

Ted still felt incredibly awful about what he had done to Juliet. He should have thought about it first, Juliet wouldn't sleep with Andy. Nothing really, how about you? Ted asked.

"Training for the big show next weekend." she said with a slight sigh. "I'm exhausted."

I'm going in that show. But Charlie's being so lazy lately and not even bothering to clear all jumps, I'm not sure how well we'll do. Ted said. I'm tired too, it's hard work getting a horse that does not want to move to move.

Juliet nodded. "You're telling me. Heaven refused like six jumps today in our lesson." she said.

I just hope that Charlie doesn't refuse any jumps in the show. As long as he doesn't refuse three we won't be disqualified, and hopefully he goes fast enough to make it within the given time. There are still penalties for knocked jumps, refusals and time faults. Ted said.

Juliet nodded. "Heaven's really good about the faults in the actual show. She barely ever knocks down bars from the jumps, even when we're just practicing. If she even knocks down one though, she gets kinda spooked and starts refusing jumps and going too slow or too fast." she said.

When Charlie knocks a jump he runs away and then slows down a lot coming up to the next hump. Then he ends up knocking it and does the same thing again. It is really annoying. Ted said.

Juliet laughed. "I could see Charlie doing that." she said with a smile.

Ted laughed. He's started biting horses that walk past his stall or are in the crossties by his stall. He looks like he's having fun, but I'd rather him not bite. Teddy has quite a few bites from him, but Teddy has bites from everybody. He doesn't know when to leave horses alone. He's decided that the horses that hate him the most are his best friends. He said.

Juliet laughed. "Teddy has a thing for Heaven if you know what I mean. He's gotten quite a few bites and kicks from her." she said with a smile.

Ted laughed, He's such a stupid horse. He was just lame for a month and a half because he got kicked by a horse, and he's still bugging every horse he can. He said.
