Ana sat on a bench crying. She didn't care who saw her, she didn't care about much right now. She had just gotten off the phone with her mother, her dad had died. She couldn't believe it. Apparently he had had a heart attack while sitting on the patio at his mom's house in Trenton. First Chris, the man she was supposed to marry, had died, and now her dad. Sure there had been three years in between, but three years really isn't that long.

Sawyer was jogging through the park. He continued to run along the path. He was really sweating. It was fairly cold out but he had been running for at least an hour. He noticed Ana sitting on the bench crying. He stopped jogging and then sat next to her. "Hey. What's going on?" he asked, quite out of breath.

Ana tried to get her crying under control to tell Sawyer what was wrong but she couldn't. She hugged him and continued to cry. My... Dad.. He's.. Dead. She managed to sob out after a little bit.

Sawyer was a little surprised when Ana just started hugging him. He sighed. He wasn't going to stop her or anything. She obviously needed someone to talk to now. Normally, Sawyer wouldn't care, but, Ana was different. He gently rubbed her back. "It'll be okay." he said softly. He felt a little uncomfortable being so close to her. He was also a little embaressed because he had been sweating so much and looked like a wreck.

Ana just continued to cry. She didn't care how he looked or if he was sweaty right now, all she cared about was that he was there for her right now.

Sawyer didn't say anything. He just continued to rub Ana's back very gently.

Ana continued to cry, her breath was really uneven and her face was all red but she didn't care. Her dad was dead, the last thing she was worried about was how she looked or sounded.

Sawyer sighed. "Come on. I'll take you home..." he said softly.

((In Religion Ms. Arruda had us do this thing to see what we would do in certain situations if our friends confided something to us. She's noticed that we don't have much faith in God or the Bible or anything. She gave half the class a paper of what to say, and then told the rest of us what was going on. She would pair us up with a person that had the paper and they would confide in us and we'd react how we think we would react in RL. I got paired up with some guy, I can't remember his name, and the paper said that he had heard a calling from God, but he didn't know what it meant or anything. I just laughed at him because of course it's something that I have no idea what to say to, and told him to see a shrink. lol))
Ana nodded and stood up.

((Brian. That's his name. lol. I couldn't give him any good support or anything, all I could do is laugh and tell him to get his head checked. lol))
Over there, Ana said, pointing in the direction of her house.

Ana walked with Sawyer to her house. On Saturday. She answered him, still crying.

((just wondering lmao! god! everyones bugging me saying that this guy and i wud make a cute couple!)) Sawyer just nodded. He really didn't know what to say or do. He was pretty good at talking to people when they were upset but he was embaressed about it. He sighed and just looked at Ana. She looked so sad. He knew that he made her laugh and they always teased each other so he figured that it might work. "Hey. I know it hurts but at least we know Pretty Boy's looking out for your daddy." he said, smirking slightly.

((lol! Is he cute?))
Ana smiled softly, Yep. He's gonna be busy, looking out for my daddy and Chris. She said. She couldn't remember if she had ever told Sawyer Chris' name.
