I got two phone calls today and both surprised me, now I don't know what to do, none of us do.
Leslie called this morning to say that Lori quit. We'll be getting an instructor that used to do show jumper and dressage, apparently she's more qualified than Lori. Her name's Robin. I've met her already because she teaches on weekends and she has a job in the Missagua area during the week. She's really nice but I like Lori better.
Lori called a few minutes ago. She's opening a stable in the Bamberg area. Every single boarder from the stable I'm at right now except for us, so 11 horses, are moving over to her stable. They're all fed up with Leslie. So, some of my favourite horses will be moving out there. Champy, Silhouette, Texas, Kip, Geronimo... I'll miss them. But, my least favourite people are moving out there, Brooke, Leah, John, Marc, Kate...
Where I am now will have the nice people. I'm guessing that a lot of lesson people will be switching to Lori's place because some of the horses moving are horses that they like and the lessons are a lot cheaper, so is the board, and people like Lori. So there won't be as many annoying kids who seem to think they know best because they all like Champy, Texas or Gerry.
There won't be as many people to bug Teddy because they'll all be leaving. I don't like Leslie that much but she's not as bad to me as she is everyone else because she likes me. I could possibly get a job at the stable because everyone else'll be going with Lori, or I could possibly get a job for Lori because she might need help while starting out.
I would probably get to exercise more horses if I stayed where I am. The people that do most of the exercise riding are leaving so I'd probably get to ride Scotty and Beau. It'd be nice riding other horses more, so I can get the slow ones to move which I have trouble with now because I'm too used to Teddy. I'll ask Leslie about that on Wednesday when she'll be out there at the same time as me. I wonder how the camp will work, most of the horses used by beginners will be leaving, only Devon, Billy and Kaylea will be left for beginners. And Josh is becoming more of a grumpy-ass every day, less of a beginner horse.
I have no idea what I want to do. I love Lori, but it would be nice having a change and there'd be more opportunities where I am now with Lor gone. Especially if Robin is a better instructor.
You tell me what you think I should do and gimme reasons! lmao. When you get back Chelsea, I want your input too. We're going to see how things go without Lor first, and I think that would take a few weeks, everything would have to calm down and everything first, and then you have to give two months notice before leaving so you'll have time to tell me what to do. lmao.
::EDIT::
Robin is such a good instructor, she doesn't spend the whole time talking to the parents and she pushes us to how far she knows we can go, even if we don't know it. Plus, she likes my polo collection ;D I don't know what to do. I love Robin and Lori! And I hate Leslie.. lol.
