"Yeah." Ava said. "Cloud hates slowing down so I really have to pull her. That just deducts our dressage score which means we have to work even harder in jumping and cross-country." she said.

Kyle smiled. "Ly and I would be fine in three day if there was no dressage. But then it really wouldn't be three day." He said. b

Ava laughed. "Believe me, I would kill for two-day!" she giggled. Three-day was really time-consuming because you had to train in three things, rather than just one or two. Ava didn't like dressage as much as she liked cross-country or jumping.

Kyle laughed. "That would be nice." He said. Kyle and Lyle enjoyed cross country, but Lyle always seemed to listen better in jumper and Kyle liked the thrill more so that was what they did.

Ava laughed. "I think that you and Lyle would clean up at the shows I go to, if you worked on your dressage. A lot of the regulars I see at the shows have dressage horses and they just expect them to be fast, good jumpers. They don't do so well." she said. Star was a really well-rounded horse so Ava almost always won when she took Star as her mount. With Cloud, Ava did well too, but not as good as she would have liked to. With Danny, Ava could only enter hunter and jumper classes because she didn't have the time or patience to teach a dominant horse like Danny, the subtle art of dressage.

Kyle laughed. "I don't think I have enough patience to train Lyle to dressage. I'd have to figure out half the stuff for myself too." He said. He had never bothered with it. The first stable he had ridden at was strictly hunter, then he moved on to a hunter/ jumper stable and they did cross country there so he hadn't really gotten the chance to learn it even if he had wanted to. He ahd considered it a few times but had always decided to just stick with jumping.

"Yeah." said Ava. "I haven't even bothered to train Danny. Jumping and hunter's in his blood and he's a champion at it, so I don't want to waste my time training him for dressage when he's not going to do well. He's a sweet boy but he's so dominant and bossy, it would take me forever."

Kyle smiled. "When I bought Lyle they told me that he was a great jumper and a dressage prospect. Ended up that he was a great jumper, but he sucked at hunter and I don't think he knew the first thing about dressage. He's a lot better of a hunter now. I think his dams dam was a champion dressage horse, and I know that his sire was a great jumper." He said.
((I have no idea where I was going with that so don't ask. It was long enough to let me reply so I'm leaving it! lmao!))

((lmao!))
Ava smiled. "Well Lyle has nice, long strides which look good in dressage. I can believe that he was a dressage prospect. With proper training he could probably do it but, the way I see it is, if it's not broke, don't fix it. He's great at jumping. Once he's good at something, you don't have to worry." she said, honestly. She loved Lyle. He was a sweet gelding.

((lmao!))
Kyle smiled. "He loves jumping so I'm happy with that./" He said. He was also more than happy with the geldings willing personality. And he was such a sweet friendly guy. Kyle couldn't ask for a better horse in his oppinion. He didn't care that Lyle wasn't a pure bred or anything. He didn't know what all was in the gelding. He did know that he was mostly Thoroughbred though. But there was some heavier horse in him too.
((What would Ava say if Kyle proposed to her over dinner? lmao! I'm just letting my mind wander to whatever in between posts.. lmao))

"Yeah." Ava said with a smile. "And he's a sweet old gelding and that's all that matters." Ava loved the handsome Thoroughbred. The heavier breeds in him gave him a stockier, more muscular appearance than a pure Thoroughbred.
((Well...she's 19 so she would say no. lol! plus, that whole thing with CJ))

Kyle smiled. "Yup. The personality's what really counts in my eyes. I don't care about bloodlines and all that.." He said.
((lmao! That's why I didn't know! lmao))

((Lmao! i still dunno who she's gonna end up with!))
"Yeah." Ava agreed. "My horses have good bloodlines but that's mainly because Mum and Dad bought them for me. Cloud has pretty good bloodlines but we bought her because she was sweet and needed a home." she said. Ava only really cared about the horse's personality and whether or not they made a good team.

Kyle smiled. He was glad that Ava agreed with him on that. He knew plenty of people that cared more about ribbons and bloodlines than anything else.

Ava smiled and brushed some hair out of her face. "I better go shower and stuff before we go to dinner to night. I'm almost positive that I can't show up at the Gilded Truffle in jeans." she said with a slight laugh.
