Charlie started to close his eyes a bit. He normally would lay in his stall and sleep the day away if he wasn't turned out or ridden. "Charlie's so lazy any day." Ted said with a smeil.

Juliet laughed. "Heaven's more lazy than she is frisky. Some days, she'll just run for hours. She's a weird horse." she said with a giggle. Heaven nipped and played with Charlie's mane gently.

Ted laughed. He watched the horses. They sure were cute together. "My dogs liek that,' He said. Some days Floyd would just sleep all day, but others all he wants to do is runa nd play/

Juleit smiled. "Mine too. Some days all she wants to do is sleep and relax and other days, she'll run around all day. What kind of dog do you have?" she asked.

"A Bichon Frise." Ted replied, "Yoiu?:

"I have a collie." she said. "Her name's Jenna and she's eight. We've had her since she was a pup. We got her from the breeder as soon as she was old enough." She ran her fingers through her hair.

Ted smiled. "We used to have a Collie, Katie. One day she went over to the farm next to ours and she buried herself ad died."
((lmao! It's true and I miss her but that was a kinda grusome sentence! lmao1))

((aww! poor katie! how did she bury herself? r u sure that the farmer didnt do it?))
"Oh my God. Poor thing! How old was she?" asked Juliet, shocked to hear that a dog buried themself alive. She had never heard of any animal doing that in her life!

"She was thirteen." Ted answered. He had been five at the time, but still remembered how upset everyone had been. They had bought her from the breeder when she was old enough and had obviously grown quite attached to her.

"Aww. Poor thing." said Juliet, sympathetically. "We had a mutt before we got Jenna. Mum and Daddy got her before I was born and we had her until I was eight. She was ten when she died. She ran outside and got hit by a car. The man didn't even stop." she said.

"That sucks." Ted said, "My sister had a cat once, Mittens, and he ran out on the road and got hit. We couldn't find him and then when we went out to put up some posters we saw him lying on the road." He said.

"Aww. Poor thing. I hate it when animals get hit and the person that hits them just leaves. I mean, if I hit an animal, I'd take them to the vet first, find the owner later." she said. Juleit had never hit an animal though. She just got her license in Britain and hadn't yet gotten it in Canada. She wasn't too sure how to drive on the right side of the road. In England, they drove on the left.

"I would definetly at the very least tell the animals owners." Ted said. He would also probably pay the vet bill and help take him there. And he for sure wouldn't just drive off.

"I know! And I would at least send them a sympathy card and apologize." said Juliet. She hated when people were mean to animals. She also hated when people had pets, but considered them pets. Pets were supposed to be part of the family, not just some mangy animal.

Ted looked over at Charlie. The gelding sighed happily and stayed still. "I don't get how people can abuse animals and stuff like that. And how some people don't consider they're pets a member of the family." He said, he had never understood that.
