Shannon sighed. This felt like the longest Gym class in the history of the world. She counted how many situps her partner did in a minute and then wrote it down. Then they both walked over to the door and waited for the bell so they could leave. People joined them and when the bell rang they pushed their way out of the Gym. Shannon went in the changeroom and changed quickly out of her gym clothes into the normal uniform. Then she walked up two flights of stairs to her locker and got her lunch. She walked outside and found a spot under a tree to eat. She didn't have that big a lunch, just a jam sandwich, so she finished quickly. Then she just sat there, leaning against the tree hoping something would happen. Some of her holder bruises were gone or fading away, and her lip was better. She had a new bruise on her arm, but nothing huge. She looked around the schoolyard to see if there was anything she could do to pass the remaining twenty minutes of lunch. She didn't see anything, and she didn't even know if anyone she knew had the same lunch as her so she didn't go to attempt to find anybody. She just sat there bordly hoping someone or something would come along to help her get less bored.

Josh walked out of his math class. He walked up to second floor and dumped his books in his locker. He then locked back the locker, puled his wallet out of his pocket and went into the cafeteria. He quickly bought a blue-raspberry slushee and two giant cookies. He was really hungry but he really didn't feel for "real food." He walked outside and noticed Shannon sitting down by herself. He walked over to her and sat down beside her, leaning against the tree. "Hey Shan. I didn't know you had this lunch." he said with a smile.

Shannon looked over at Josh when he spoke. Finally she wasn't alone. Hey. I had to switch some classes around because I had Science, English, Geography and Math all in the first semester so I went from the first lunch to this one. She said. Now she had English, Math, Business and Gym in the first semester, and then Religion, Geography, Drama and Science in the second.

((What did u take as your optionals?))
"Oh I see." Josh said with a smile. He took a bite from the cookie and held out the other one to Shannon. "Want one?" he asked.

((Business and Tech. You?))
No thanks, I'm fine. Shannon said. She did kinda want one, but she'd be fine without one. He had bought them for himself.

"Have one." Josh insisted. He took another bite from his own. They were big and he'd be fine with just one today. He then took a sip of his slushee.

((neither do i but i want to get everything over and done with. the guy is taking it because he wants to be a pilot or sumthin in the army and he wants to do something like that for Co-Op and getting rid of math now givs him extra time or something...))
"Yeah. Go ahead." he said with a grin.

((lol ya i guess. i think he's insane for wnating to be in the army. lol. i just emt him on the 1st day of school. he went to some public school but hes pretty nice.)) "No problem." Josh said with a smile. He took another sip of his drink and glanced over at her. "So were your parents pissed about last night?" he asked.

((I would never want to be in the army. I don't like most of the people I have classes with, except for Damian in Religion, and Marcus in English. lol))
Shannon ate a bit of the cookie before answering his next question. Well, Dad was. It's just me and him. She said, not going into any detail.

((lol i like some people in my classes. Laura and Tyler are in my religion class. Amanda, and Ashlee and a bunch of people I know are in history. In drama there's like nobody! People I know but not that well... and then in Math there's Natasha basically. And then like Richard and Kenny (kif who sits next to me) and a few others)) "Oh I see." Josh said, not wanting to ask anything more in case Shannon found he was getting too nosey or something.

((lol, lucky. I hate switching schools. Everyone has their friends and they don't like adding more pople to their friends. Damian's nice though and sits with me at lunch. lol))
Shannon was glad that he didn't ask anything more. She wouldn't have thought he was nosy, but she wouldn't have been that happy about having to tell him, she would have had to choose her words closely to make sure she didn't give too much about her past away.
