Where is he? Mr. Wilhelm asked. He wanted to see his son.

"Come on. I'll take you." Greg said, leading the family into Alex's room.

((Emmy's so cold! She's wet and I'm sitting here hugging her under a blanket and she's shaking so much! I'm only typing with one hand because I need to hug her so I might be kinda slow))
Okay, thanks ?Caro said. Everyone followed Greg to see Alex.

((no prob. i have to do that with my dogs every so often. i didnt kno you gave cats a bath. i thought you just kinda wet a cloth and rubbed it over them and stuff. i didnt know they could get completely wet))
Greg opened the door to the room and let the family inside. Alex was lying there, hooked up to a bunch of machines. He had tubes coming out of him and he was on a respirator. He was no longer covered in blood and he was wearing a clean hospital gown, but he still looked bad.
Audrey was still waiting in the waiting area. Her hands were shaking like a leaf. She wiped her eyes and sighed deeply.

((We have to give ours baths. Buddy, Emma and Floyd all have fleas and we can't get rid of them. They've been having a bath once a week lately, and the fleas are finally starting to go away. We only found 7 on Floyd this time! lol. And we give Dufie baths because he gets so stinky if we don't.))
Caro walked over to Alex and just looked at him. He looked horrible! She had figured that he wouldn't look very good, but she wasn't prepared for this. She started crying, she was so scared for her big brother. Mike hugged her and just let her cry.

((lol! our dogs have never ever had fleas. we give them baths every so often like you're supposeed to, and also, because they have a tendancy to roll in mud and worms when it rains, we have to bathe them then )) Audrey was getting anxious. She wanted to go see her Alex.

((There is a lot of long grass where Floyd used to go pee here, and he's been getting fleas from it. Now he's stopped going outside and uses a mat, but we can't get rid of the stupid fleas. None of the animals here get dirty because they don't go outside, but at Daddy's Doofus plays in the kitty litter and gets all stinky and greasy so he needs a bath occasionally, and Crabby has never had one, at least while she's lived with us anyways))
Caro, her dad, and Mike stayed with Alex for a little bit, and then went back out so Audrey could have some time alone with Alex if she wanted.

((its a pain bathing them))
Audrey noticed that Caro had been crying. She walked over and hugged her very tightly. "It's ok..." she said softly, but before long, she ended up sobbing.

((Yep. Floyd's actually pretty good because he's used to them (he used to get into a lot of mud/ cow crap when we lived at Wolf's), but Emma cries the whole time and is really squirmy and tries to get away. Buddy just sits there like a good boy, and Dufie just cries))
Caro just hugged Audrey and cried.

((heidi's good but sophie squirms and trys to climb out of the laundry room sink))
Audrey rested her head on Caro's shoulder and sobbed uncontrollably. She was shaking. She was so scared.

Caro just continued to cry. She was so scared that he wouldn't make it. She had just lost her mom not long ago, and now possibly Alex.

Audrey pulled away from Caro and then hugged Mr. Wilhelm. "I'm so sorry..." she whispered through sobs. The family didn't deserve this now. They had just lost Mrs. Wilhelm and now there was a good chance that they would lose Alex. Audrey wouldn't be able to live without him.
