((lmao! It's better then dirty. lol))
Alex enjoyed just cuddling with Audrey. Too bad they only did it when something bad was happening. But it would be kinda weird if they did it just because.

((lmao!))
Audrey snuggled with Alex and sighed. She continued to stroke the nape of his neck and his back.
((a doctor should come out and say that she's dead or something))

It was amazing how quickly such a nice day could go downhill. Just a little while ago Alex and Audrey had been goofing around eating their lunches and eachothers and now here they were. ((Nice. you do it. lol))

Audrey noticed doctors rushing in and out of Mrs. Wilhelm's room. She pulled away from Alex. "Alex, I think maybe you should go in and see your mum." she said softly, not bothering to tell him that she though his mother was dying.

Alex had had his back to the room but when he looked over he saw doctors going in and out of the room. Even though he was a doctor it kind of scared him. He knew that his mom had reached her end. He went in the room and stood by his dad who looked scared too. He was losing his wife. She had done so much for everyone, but there was nothing they could do for her.

Audrey waited outside of Mrs. Wilhelm's room. She didn't mind going in the room if Alex wanted her there but she didn't want to just go. She knew that Alex probably needed some time alone with his family.

Alex didn't really care right now who was in the room and who wasn't. As long as his family was there he was as good as he would get. Obviously that wasn't all that great though because his mom was dying. She's gone. He said softly as soon as he knew she was dead for sure. It was somthing he had said quite a few times to families of people that he had been trying to save, but it had never been as hard. His mom was dead.

Audrey was still waiting outside the door, not really aware of what was going on. She knew it probably wasn't going too well though. She sighed and waited anxiously.

Alex stayed in the room for a little bit longer but then couldn't take it any more and went back to where Audrey was. Most of the people in that room were girls and they were all crying and Alex's dad was crying and it was so depressing. He couldn't bring himself to say that she was dead again though so he just stood there silently. She could probably tell though just by looking at him. He looked like he was about to cry but he was trying his hardest not to.

Audrey wrapped her arms tightly around him. "It's okay." she whispered. She kissed his cheek gently. He didn't have to say that she had died. Audrey could tell from his face.

Alex couldn't believe that his mom had so suddenly died. He had just talked to her on the phone earlier that day, and now she was dead. He couldn't say anything. He didn't know what to say and he couldn't bring himself to open his mouth. Some tears silently rolled down his face and he quickly wiped them away.

Audrey hugged him tightly when she realized he was crying. "Honey, it's going to be okay. She's in a better place now and she's watching over you. She's so proud of you, I know she is. You're the most amazing, funny, sweet, person I know. Any mother would be proud to have a son like you." she told him softly.

I know. But I was just talking to her this morning. She was telling me how she wanted to have a birthday party for dad this year to get the whole family together because we hadn't all been together in one place since Christmas. She couldn't wait to have everyone together, and now she'll never be able to. Alex said. She would never be able to be with the whole family again.

"Yes she will." said Audrey with a slight smile. "You could all still get together. I'm sure your dad would love having everybody with him on his birthday. And your mom will be there. She'll be able to see all of you having a good time and that'll make her happy."

It won't be the same though. Alex said. She wouldn't be able to talk to them and they wouldn't be able to talk to her.
