Audrey sat where she was and waited for Alex. She knew that this would be hard for him. At least the other members of his family were at the hospital too if he needed them.

((Do you know what pissed me off a lot in grade 5? lol. I just remembered while I was looking at the poster I made for a book report. I made the rough copy and got the stupid teacher to look at it and make sure I had the spelling right and everything. Then I went home and made the good copy and got two other people to make sure that I had the spelling the same as on the rough copy which Mrs. Miller had checked for me. It was the exact same. Then I handed the thing in and was proud of it and thought I was going to get a good mark on it. Mrs. Miller finds problems with it. Like apparently it's supposed to asy 1:00 PM instead of just 1, when it had a 1 in the rough copy. She corrected the spelling on a last name. I checked the book. And then she said that I spelled daddy's last name wrong. God I hated her!))
Alex went in the room and talked to his mom for a little bit and when he came out it was obvious that he had been crying. His mom's younger sister hugged him and all that.
((lol, BRB, I have to eat supper))

((she sounds bitchy!))
Audrey walked over to him when she saw him leave the room. She wrapped her arms around him. She didn't really say anything. She didn't know what to say to a man who had just been crying.
((ok. I'm gonna go shower quickly))

((She is. I'm still mad at her! lol. I had her in grade three and in grade 5. one time in grade 3 a kid was tlaking to me and I yawned because it was boring and she spazzed at me. lol. That made me so mad! Oh, and I hate Mrs. Shultz who I had in grade 2 and 4. She was always yelling at me because I never did my homework. One time she saw us in McDonalds and talked to my mom about my not doing my homework. She yelled at me on my birthday and made me cry in grade 2. Oh, and one day in grade 2 I had to go to the bathroom really badly and she wouldn't let me go becase we had just had recess and she let someone else go and even though I told her I really had to go she wouldn't let me so I peed my pants and got laughed at. It wasn't fair. The only teachers I had in elementary school that liked me and I liked them were Mr. Ricketts in grade 7 and Mr. Barclay in grade 8. When I had Mrs. Miller in grade 5 I went a whole term without not doing my homework once. She gave me a friggen s for satisfactory. That made me mad.))
Alex just hugged her back. He didn't care that she didn't say anything, it was enough that she was there for him. His mother looked so different in there. Normally she looked so full ov energy and was almost always smiling. She always managed to look beautiful too, but in there she didn't look as beautiful as she normally did and she definetly didn't look full of life and she wasn't smiling obviously.
((kk))

((i hated my JK teacher (which sounds weird but listen ). Her name was Mrs. Fillion (cant spell it). She like cared more about the "special" kids who had problems than she did about us normal kids. She was a bitch. And I cried once because she yelled at me! Do you know y she yelled at me? I didn't clean up the table that like 10 of us were sitting at! She called us to sit in the circle so I did and I got yelled at! She was a bitch! I hated my grade 2 teacher too. Mrs. Pinto. She was such a bitch! I dunno if I ever cried and I don't think I ever got yelled at too badly because I was good but the way she treated the other kids was insane! Everyone is scared of her! Lmao! My grade 7 teach (who i love. her brother was my religion teach in grade 9 and her mum supplied us for like a month in grade 1) was telling the class this story because Mrs Pinto wanted the class to do something for her class and my grade 7 teach was imitating her indian accent and stuff and she said "so guys, we have to help mrs. pinto's class cuz I'm a little scared of her!" and we all laffed. My grade 3, 6, and 7 teachers were awesome. Most of my grade 9 ones were good too)) Audrey hugged him very tightly. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly. She snuggled against him. She felt awful for him. She knew what it was like to lose a parent and right now, it seemed like Alex was losing his mum.

((Lol! She does sound bad, but I like your grade 7 teacher. Mr. Ricketts and Mr. Barclay did stuff like that. And Mr. Ricketts had these weird habits that were so funny. And he was such a neat freak so Mr. Barclay would come in to teach Science and mess up Mr. Rickett's table while he was in there and then Mr. Ricketts would spaz. He always had funny stories to tell. And he made fun of me because in grade 8 he taught us Geography and Science and every time he was in the classroom I would have a sotry to tell about New Hamburg, where I grew up and where daddy lives. He ended up by the end of the year just asking me before I started talking if I had a NH storyand normally it was yeah. lol. I'm gonna visit him and Mr. B sometime this year. I haven't seen them in a while. lol. And then in grade seven the other grade seven teacher taught us History and she was such a bitch! I was sick one day and then the next I came back and she started asking me all these questions on stuff she had covered the day before so I didn't know because I wasn't there. Then she started yelling at me saying that I wasn't paying attention. And we had a stupid debate thing and the whole time I had my hand up waiting to say my point because that's what we were supposed to do. She chose her favourite students to talk and they all got great marks. She didn't call on me once and I got a 0. That made me so mad, I only got 56% in History that term because of her. Another time we had to write a test and she decided that since I skipped school so much I wouldn't know anything on it. I ended up getting 95% on the test and she made me take another test at lunch one day without warning because she thought that I cheated. I had only cheated on three questions so on the second test I was prepared for it because it was the same test and I got 98%. She used the 95 mark when she did the report carn instead of the 98. And another time we had a group project to do and I was telling everyone what to do and I ended up doing most of the work anyways. Everyone else in the group got in the 80s on it and I got a 64. She said that I didn't contribute much to the group and everyone else, Ben, Aaron, Jessica, Kim and Shannon all told her that I did most of the work. Even Shannon told her that. Mrs. Foss knew that Shannon and I didn't get along at all and hated eachother but still she didn't change the mark. I am so glad I didn't have her full time.))
Alex took a somewhat shakey breath. I dunno. He answered.

((she sounds like a bitch! but i love those teachers who tease their students and other teachers. i've had quite a few of those )) Audrey hugged him tighter. "Alex, it's okay. It's gonna be okay." she whispered soothingly. She didn't want him to start crying. If he started crying, it would make her upset because she hated seeing when people cried, especially men.

((lol, I've only had Mr. Ricketts and Mr. B that did that. I love them though, like not too much though you know. lmao))
Alex wasn't going to cry again, not infront of Audrey or anyone. It might take a bit of work but he would have to pull it off.

((Yeah. lol.))
Alex was glad that Audrey was there for him right now. It made him feel a lot better knowing that he had a friend to help him through it. And he always had his family there if he needed them. The only people missing was Alex's sister, Shelby, and her husband and two kids. They'd be flying up from Texas as soon as they could Alex found out from his aunt.

((lol))
Audrey slowly ran her fingers through Alex's hair. She cuddled against him. If people didn't know who they were, they would probably think that Alex and Audrey were husband and wife or something. The people who did know them would probably think that they were cute and perfect for each other.

Alex played with Audrey's hair a bit without even thinking about it. The thought of what othet people might think of them did come into his head for a brief second, but he didn't care right now.

Audrey got goosebumps all over her body when Alex started playing with her hair. She hugged him tighter and rested her head on his shoulder. She sighed contently.

Alex continued to play with Audrey's hair. He felt like he needed to do something and her hair was right there. It was nice and soft and felt clean too.

((lmao! it felt clean! )) Audrey softly rubbed Alex's back. She hugged him tightly and sighed. He was really sweet and Audrey loved just cuddling with him.
